The Schindelhauer Emil VI — Mahle Pinion is an e-bike that sets the benchmark for minimalist electric cycling. Whisper-quiet Mahle X35+ motor, hidden battery, Gates Carbon Drive belt, and a Pinion gearbox — all seamlessly integrated into a clean aluminium frame. No cables, no derailleur, no compromise.

The Pinion gearbox sits inside the bottom bracket, protecting every gear from the elements. Combined with the belt drive, it's a fully sealed drivetrain that goes years without maintenance. At around 16 kg, the Emil VI is exceptionally light for an e-bike — you'll barely notice you're riding electric.

Hydraulic disc brakes ensure confident stopping in all conditions. The integrated Supernova lighting draws power from the motor battery. Everything works together perfectly — by design.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery takes 1 to 3 business days in the Netherlands and 3 to 7 business days elsewhere in the EU. Shipping costs, and any free shipping threshold, are shown at checkout.

Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order. Email info@kaptein.cc with your order number, then send the item back within another 14 days. Return shipping is at your own cost. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect we cover the return, and you are entitled to repair, replacement or a refund. Refunds are issued within 14 days to your original payment method.

Warranty
New bikes and products carry the manufacturer's warranty. Repairs carried out in our workshop are covered for 3 months.
