The Specialized Chisel Base is purpose-built to tackle modern cross-country trails and race courses with the utmost speed. It shares the modern features of its Epic Hardtail sibling in a more budget-friendly package — the most efficient and capable alloy hardtail out there, with one of the lightest alloy frames anywhere at 1,350 grams thanks to D'Aluisio Smartweld construction.

This build comes with Shimano's tried and true Deore 1x12 drivetrain, MT400 hydraulic disc brakes, a RockShox Judy Silver fork and Fast Trak 2.3 tyres — solid spec, proven performance, ready to roll.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery takes 1 to 3 business days in the Netherlands and 3 to 7 business days elsewhere in the EU. Shipping costs, and any free shipping threshold, are shown at checkout.

Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order. Email info@kaptein.cc with your order number, then send the item back within another 14 days. Return shipping is at your own cost. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect we cover the return, and you are entitled to repair, replacement or a refund. Refunds are issued within 14 days to your original payment method.

Warranty
New bikes and products carry the manufacturer's warranty. Repairs carried out in our workshop are covered for 3 months.
