The Kaptein Custom Footbed / Soles service is a professional in-store heat-moulding session where Kaptein's fitting specialists shape a Specialized Body Geometry Custom Footbed precisely to your individual foot profile. The process takes 20–30 minutes and corrects biomechanical imbalances including arch support, forefoot varus, and supination — issues that contribute to knee pain, hot spots, and inefficient pedalling. Recommended as a companion service to a bike fit or purchased alongside a Custom Footbed product. At €129, it's one of the most cost-effective interventions for chronic foot or knee discomfort on the bike.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Shipping
Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery takes 1 to 3 business days in the Netherlands and 3 to 7 business days elsewhere in the EU. Shipping costs, and any free shipping threshold, are shown at checkout.

Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order. Email info@kaptein.cc with your order number, then send the item back within another 14 days. Return shipping is at your own cost. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect we cover the return, and you are entitled to repair, replacement or a refund. Refunds are issued within 14 days to your original payment method.

Warranty
New bikes and products carry the manufacturer's warranty. Repairs carried out in our workshop are covered for 3 months.
